How We Work

Share this on:

Mission: Graduate works by bringing partners together from different sectors to develop and take action on strategies that are designed to improve student success outcomes all along the cradle-to-career continuum.

There are two primary types of groups in Mission: Graduate.

Collaborative Action Networks

Collaborative Action Networks have developed detailed action plans, with long-term strategies and shorter-term projects, which network members have agreed to undertake collectively. Network members also hold themselves accountable to goals in each strategy area and are using data to evaluate progress and make improvements every step of the way.

Community Support Councils

Community Support Councils play an advisory role in Mission: Graduate, providing input into the overall priorities for action, advocating on behalf of the initiative, and connecting partners to resources in the community. The exceptions to this rule are the Area Rotary Council and Summer Learning Council, which have also developed collaborative strategies designed to improve high school graduation rates and summer learning opportunities, respectively.
