Overview Of My Blockchain Review
Blockchain Council is a learning platform that helps bridge the gap between theory learning and practical learning for topics related to AI, Blockchain, Web3, Metaverse, NFTs, and Cryptocurrencies.
Taking Blockchain Council courses has helped me learn and bust so many myths, and based on that experience, I recommend this platform to novices to learn basics that will help them safeguard themselves against scams.
Meanwhile, mid- to advanced-level learners can get on this platform to catch up with new trends and networks.
Blockchain Council offers training programs, certificate programs, and consultation services to help its learner unlock their full potential.
My Blockchain Council Course & Platform Review
I will now share my experiences on various factors of the Blockchain Council as a learning platform.
Easy Signing Up
It was effortless to create an account on this platform. You can sign- up for free on Blockchain Council with quick and easy steps.
Your account is created by filling out details like your name, email ID, and country and creating a password, as shown in the picture below.
Instructors
Instructors on Blockchain Council are vetted and given strict guidelines by the platform when it selects their courses.
The instructors teach using a combination of video lectures, presentations, quizzes, and handouts to keep the learners engaged throughout the session.
I do not like the pre-recorded courses offered by the platform because they seem robotic and impersonal, as if they were AI-generated. The live sessions are better comparatively as learners get to see their instructors and ask questions one-on-one.
UI & UX
The user interface is pleasant to look at. The blue and white combination is soothing to look at.
The User experience is as easy as it gets. However, some features are unavailable on the platform, viz free trials or course instructor details. These necessary course details help learners decide whether to take the course.
Adding these few details will help the platform attract more learners and provide them with essential details on a particular course.
Quality of Courses
The Blockchain Council courses are short, bite-sized courses designed to help newbies acquaint themselves with the subject. They are the best for basic knowledge of deep tech.
Blockchain Council offers mainly three types of courses-
- Certification & Learning.
- Certification Only
- Online Degree
Certificate-only courses are those for which you can take exams directly without going through the learning content first.
I took the free Bitcoin 101 certificate-only course available on Blockchain Council’s YouTube Channel to understand the fundamentals of Bitcoin. Then I took the exam on the platform for the certificate in Bitcoin 101.
Since no study material is available for the certificate-only courses, I recommend you use the platform similarly if you are taking them. Learn from the free YouTube tutorials on Blockchain Council’s YouTube channel and then take the exam on the platform.
What Learning Paths Does Blockchain Council Open?
Blockchain Council offers various learning paths to master one subject at a time. Currently, there are seven learning paths (as shown in the image below) offering knowledge in fields, namely-
- Master Artificial Intelligence
- Master Web3 Fundamentals
- Master Blockchain Development
- Master Decentralized Businesses
- Master The Smart Contracts
- Master The Cryptocurrencies
- Develop The Metaverse
Each path has 4 courses (as shown in the image below) that help a novice learn all the essential concepts and terminology needed to start their journey in the field.
However, when you are taking a learning path on this platform, make sure you check the course prerequisites in the description section. If you do not possess the knowledge required by the course, you can take the course for that topic first and then get on the pre-made learning path.
Passing The Exam
You will be asked to review your name and email ID before taking the exam. Make sure your name is spelled correctly in the space pointed out below using the red arrow, as it will appear the same on your test results and certificates.
The test duration for each exam might differ based on the course level. The test will have MCQs along with True/False Questions. I found some MCQs had a single right answer, whereas a few had multiple correct answers, which I found challenging.
The passing criteria for assessments on this platform is high, set at 60%. But you get 3 retakes to pass an assessment on the Blockchain Council platform. A gap of 24 hours must pass before you retake the test.
On successfully scoring 60% or more on the test, you will receive a completion certificate from the Blockchain Council.
