  • How to look up the amount of your student loans
  • Introduction to an academic advisor or coach at your post-secondary school

To start, click on the button and complete a Graduate! ABQ interest form. It will take you 5-10 minutes. A Graduate! ABQ coach will contact you.

FUNDING AND SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

  • Free Application for Federal Financial Aid
    • What you will need to fill out the FAFSA
    • To apply for aid for the summer of 2020, use your 2017 tax return
    • To apply for aid for the fall 2020 through summer 2021, use your 2018 tax return
    • TIP:  If you enter your name and address exactly as it was entered on your tax return, the FAFSA will automatically import your tax information into the FAFSA form.

    • For current CNM students experiencing a financial emergency
       
  • CNM Bridge to Success Scholarship
    • Offered to first-time freshman who are in the process of qualifying for the Legislative Lottery Scholarship.

  • CNM New Student Leader Orientation Scholarship
    • Apply to lead student orientations
    • Earn up to $1,000 in scholarship money
       
  • Children of Fallen Heroes Scholarship (for CNM students)
  • CNM – Scholarships for NM Residents
    • CNM Legislative Scholarship - is a tuition scholarship awarded in fall and spring, it covers actual tuition charges and the registration fee. The CNM Scholarship Application, available every spring, is required.
    • CNM General Scholarship - is a $500 scholarship divided equally between fall and spring, it is intended to assist students with educational expenses. The CNM Scholarship Application and FAFSA are required.
    • CNM Day Care - CNM offers a Daycare scholarship to help offset the cost of childcare for students with childcare expenses. The CNM Scholarship Application and FAFSA are required along with a verification application of daycare expenses sent to students who meet the criteria. 
       
  • Grow Your Own Teacher Scholarship (for CNM Students)
    • Tuition, fees, and other educational related expenses
    • Student is employed as an educational assistant in a public school and enrolled in a teacher preparation program.
       
  • Teacher Preparation Affordability Scholarship (for CNM Students)
    • Tuition, fees, and other educational related expenses
    • Enrolled at least half-time in a teacher preparation program
       
  • CNM Connect Services Scholarships
    • The Advantage Connect Scholarship
      • A portion of tuition and registration fees for current
      • Must be a CNM student
      • Renewable every semester
      • Application opens before semester begins and closes at the end of the first week of the semester
    • The Connect Book Scholarship
      • Helps with the cost of required books and materials purchased at the CNM Bookstore
      • Must be a CNM student
      • Renewable every semester
      • Application is open for the month prior to the beginning of the semester.
      • Application closes approximately 10 days prior to the beginning of the semester
         
  • CNM Suncat Scholars
    • Comprehensive scholarship for first time, full-time freshman
    • Tuition assistance
    • Texts and material assistance
    • Based upon need after receiving Federal financial aid
       
  • Suncat Saving Challenge/IDA Program
    • Students who save money will have that amount matched by public and private institutions to help public and private institutions to help students save toward their education, a home, or starting a business.
       
  • External Scholarships located by the CNM Native American Task Team
