Selena graduated from New Mexico State University with a Masters of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction with a Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) endorsement and a linguistic minor. Before graduating with her Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education, Selena spent her student teaching abroad at the Louisiana Government School in Belize, Central America.
Her former work experience includes United Way of Santa Fe County, the Global Center for Cultural Entrepreneurship, University of New Mexico – Los Alamos, Mid-Region Council of Governments, Health Action New Mexico, and Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
In Selena’s spare time she volunteers with the MS Society on the Bike MS planning committee, Delta Gamma – Albuquerque as the Young Alumnae director, St. Tim’s as their social media and website coordinator, and with the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta’s Bicycle Valet. She is also a board member of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of New Mexico. Selena Hardy has a passion for investing her time and energy into her community to make it truly a better place.
