Tutors for Reading, Writing and Math

Communities in Schools of New Mexico is currently in 11 of Santa Fe's public schools and provides approximately 6000 underserved, PreK-12 students. Our services encourage students to stay in school and succeed in life. At present, our volunteers fall into two categories: tutoring in English Language Arts and/or math and basic needs (e.g. weekly food distribution for families and other seasonal projects). The need for bilingual tutors is high, though it is certainly not a requirement. Please contact Kate Mitchell, Volunteer Coordinator, at 505-954-1880 or for more information.
