Treasurer Needed

We are an organization that helps foster kids “be kids” and helps former and current foster youth move successfully into their futures. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for children’s ability to grow to their full potential. We need individuals who can not only plan but execute those plans into action to help New Mexico foster kids realize dreams. We have two major programs: General Awards, where a foster parent, social worker or other advocate for a foster child may submit an application for funding to address the child’s interest; and an Education Awards program for young adults aged 17-25 who have been in foster care in New Mexico to help with college and trade school.
We are currently in need of a Board Treasurer who will review the work of the bookkeeper, present financials at board meetings, create budgets, assist with grant reporting and partcipate with other board activities.
