City of Albuquerque is Recruiting AmeriCorps VISTA Members

The City of Albuquerque is recruiting AmeriCorps VISTA members for their new Experience Matters program, a partnership with Cities of Service and AARP to engage adults age 50+ as volunteers in literacy development and academic achievement programs. As part of the program, two AmeriCorps VISTA members will work out of Albuquerque City Hall and build capacity and raise awareness for the program. Experience Matters VISTAs will work alongside senior level city staff and nonprofits, build community and organizational capacity, and be a part of a nationwide network of Cities of Service VISTA members.
